Arizona CCW Permit Course

This class covers the core topics Arizona applicants should understand before applying, including firearms safety, safe handgun handling, concealed carry responsibilities, Arizona use-of-force concepts, weapons law overview, and the Arizona DPS application process. Students will also receive guidance on required application items such as fingerprints, proof of training, and permit submission steps.

The course includes a live-fire portion to reinforce safe gun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and responsible defensive handgun use. Live fire is not designed as an advanced pistol class, but as a practical skills validation and safety-focused range block.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion that may be submitted with their Arizona CCW permit application. Final permit approval is determined solely by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
